We've also designed the top-right of the mat to hold your current Crossroad card. While Dead of Winter does not "officially" support a solo mode, we still enjoy playing solo variants and this space can be used to hide the secret information of the Crossroad card until it is triggered! Simply hide the card under the mat with only the italicized text exposed. Once triggered, you may read the rest of the card and resolve the effects if necessary.
Although we've designed this mat for solo play, it can also be used in multiplayer games.
